In Baby News…

As you all know, I had my 20 week ultrasound last Thursday. I unfortunately had to go to it alone. The hubs got off of work in time for it, but T was still napping and we would have had to bring all three kids with us and fit in a room the size of my pinky, so we opted out of bringing them. My ultrasound tech (is there a specific name for them?) put it all on a DVD for me to share with Joe so it was kind of like he still got to be there.

Most important thing first: baby is healthy and doing well! Weighing in at 1 pound even :)

Second thing, he is all BOY. The early gender ultrasound tech we had back at 16 weeks was correct. As soon as she laid the wand on my belly Thursday, he was there, spread eagle. Good thing we decided to find out with this pregnancy too because he was not about to keep it a secret. He even started pulling at it in a “hey! look! the first lady was right! See? I am a boy!” kinda way. (He will kill me when he’s older for putting that out there in the blogging world ;) hehe.

Here he is telling all of you hello!

Did you all know that they can do the 4D thing at your 20 week ultrasound? I didn’t get it with the other two (different doctor’s office) but I did with this little guy! I was beyond excited! I thought that at this early, they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have enough body fat, but I was so wrong. And this time, I was so happy to be wrong. It was a little blurry, but we got to see most of his face. My mom and sister texted back that he looks like my daughter. My husband doesn’t agree. He’s still holding out for another mini-me. He said it is hard to imagine having another little boy who doesn’t look like him. I joked that he won’t look like either of us and come out a red head like some my grandma and some of my cousins :)

Anyway, here is his beautiful little face:

 Cute as a button, right?
